Installation and site work completed in accordance with Ontario requirements.
A concrete repair contractor restores serviceability, durability, geometry, and structural capacity by investigating deterioration, removing unsound concrete, preparing reinforcing and substrate, installing compatible repair materials, curing, and verifying the completed repair. Harrowgate self-performs and manages this work across Ontario.
Clean site work and a tidy finish, coordinated with your engineers, the other trades, and the surrounding site conditions, built to the engineered drawings and the applicable codes.
Repair limits are established through drawings, visual review, sounding, survey, testing, and consultant direction. Harrowgate marks delaminated and unsound areas, sawcuts a defined perimeter, and continues removal to sound concrete. Newly exposed corrosion, cracks, voids, or section loss are documented and reviewed before the repair is rebuilt.
Repeat delamination follows incomplete removal, contaminated or weak substrate, partly exposed corroding steel, poor bond preparation, incompatible material, shrinkage, water entry, salt exposure, or inadequate cure. Harrowgate addresses the governing cause, prepares to the repair specification, controls mixing and placement, and restores joints, drainage, coatings, and protection around the patch.
Yes. Harrowgate divides work into safe zones, maintains agreed access and loading limits, coordinates noise, dust, water, shutdowns, shoring, cure, and reopening, and completes each repair through protection before advancing. Phasing is built from structural restrictions and material return-to-service criteria, not only from the facility’s preferred traffic pattern.
Injection is used where the engineer and material design identify a suitable crack condition and objective, such as structural bonding with resin or water control with flexible grout. Harrowgate confirms crack activity, moisture, width, access, pressure limits, and termination before injection. Moving joints and unidentified water paths require a different detail.
Harrowgate exposes reinforcing to the required clearance, removes corrosion products without damaging the bar, records section loss, and installs supplemental or replacement steel only to the engineer’s detail. Bars are not cut for removal access without authorization. The repair material is then consolidated around the steel with the specified cover.
Return to service depends on material strength gain, cure, temperature, repair geometry, coating or membrane completion, loading, and engineer or manufacturer criteria. Harrowgate protects the work and releases the area only after the stated acceptance condition is met. Fast set does not remove the need for correct preparation and cure.
Documentation includes repair maps, preconstruction conditions, removal limits, reinforcing observations, consultant instructions, product and batch records, mixing and temperature logs, test results, cure records, photographs, quantities, and deficiency closeout. This gives owners a location-based history for future condition reviews and maintenance planning.
